Disable Stamina Mode
Turn off Stamina Mode so that apps can run in the background. According to the official description, the mode limits only mobile data and Wi-Fi. In fact, it also stops all background processes. You can disable the mode in settings, in the Battery or Power Management section.
Disable Adaptive Battery
Settings > Battery > Adaptive Battery > Off
The Adaptive Battery feature limits the operation of rarely used apps. To extend battery life, it stops the background processes of such apps. Over time, the phone should learn which apps are used more often and which less often. In practice, even frequently used apps can be terminated.
Disable Power Saving Function
Settings > Apps & notifications > Advanced > Special access > Power saving function.
Disable Battery Optimization
Settings > Battery > [three dots] > Battery optimization > select the app.
Disable Deep Sleep (If Available)
Some Sony models have a Deep Sleep feature that may block background processes. Check:
Settings > Battery > Deep Sleep > Off
