Nothing OS is close to stock Android, so it adds few vendor-specific optimizations. Apply the settings from the Google (Standard Settings) section, then check the options below.
Remove the Battery Restriction for the App
Settings > Apps > select the app > App battery usage > select Unrestricted.
Pin the App in the Recent List
Open the recent apps screen > press and hold the app thumbnail > select the lock icon.
