Transcribings

The feature is available since version 3.63.


It allows you to view and manage the call and conference transcribing (speech-to-text) queue. The queue can be filtered using the status dropdown and the search field at the top.

For transcription to work, set up and configure an additional server machine and enable call recording and call transcription in the VoEx section. You can find details in the Administrator Documentation or by contacting support.
Column Description
Transcribing Transcribing identifier. Clicking on it opens the transcribing page.
Call ID Call or conference identifier or call_id.
Status Transcribing state:
  • new. Transcribing is in the processing queue.
  • in_progress. Transcribing is being processed.
  • ok. Transcribing is ready.
  • error. An error occurred during transcribing.
Error Reason Specifies the reason for the transcribing service error.
inserted_at Transcribing start date and time.
updated_at Date and time of any transcribing update (ready or ready with an error).
Restart Buttons for resending records for ASR.

Transcribing Properties

The transcribing page includes information about the transcribing start, readiness, a link to the output text document with transcription (it works if access to the call transcribing was granted for public users and guests), and participant media streams info.

How Long Is Transcription Stored?

The transcription is stored on the server for 90 days by default.
