This subsection configures previews of links sent through the app and the risk warning in new personal chats. Before version 3.75, the subsection was called “Connection protection”. The subsection is available starting with version 3.52.

Parameter Description
Allow link preview generation If the checkbox is cleared, no preview will be loaded for any links sent through the application.
Blacklisted IP addresses This configures IP ranges of hosts for which link previews will not be loaded.
Whitelisted domains Link previews will only be generated for domains specified here.
⚠️ When the white list is enabled, the black list does not work, because the white list takes priority.

Risk Warning in New Personal Chats

⚠️ Apps that support this setting have not been released yet. For now, all apps show the warning according to the default rule.

Here you select for contacts from which servers the app shows a warning about the risk of phishing and malicious attachments in new personal chats. The warning is shown if the contact is not in the user's address book. For how it looks to the user, see “Phishing Protection”.

Select an option in the Servers that trigger risk warnings list and click Save.

The setting is applied by apps that support it. Other apps show the warning according to the default rule. For users of the public
