Statuses

In application settings, you can set a status: other users will see it next to your name. Statuses work starting with version 3.40 of the server software and clients.

Status Features

  • Select a predefined status or create your own with emoji
  • Set the duration: permanent or temporary (for example, during vacation)
  • Manage notifications: disable all or configure exceptions
  • Reject incoming calls: disable all or configure exceptions
  • Set an auto-reply for users who message you

Why Don't My Colleagues See My New Status?

If you change your status, it will update for other users:

  • Automatically every 30 minutes
  • Instantly after they open your contact card

How to Notify Colleagues About My Vacation?

Create two statuses. Turn on the first one in advance, for example two weeks before vacation: it will let your colleagues know that you'll be going on vacation soon. The second status is an “On Vacation” status: activate it at the end of your last workday. Both statuses can be customized to turn off automatically at the specified time.

Automatic System Statuses

The system sets the “online” and “in call” statuses automatically.

Can I Hide My “Online” Status and That I'm Reading Messages?

No, the app doesn't have an invisible mode.

Why Didn’t the “Online” Status Update Even Though the Person Read the Message?

The last activity time updates only when the app is open and in focus: on the smartphone screen, in the desktop window, or in an active browser tab. If the recipient read the message from the notification shade without opening the app, the status will remain unchanged.
