Why Is It Sometimes Impossible to View Videos on Web/Desktop?
In web and desktop apps, video files up to 50 MB in size are displayed in the message as a video that can be viewed directly in the chat. Video files larger than 50 MB are displayed as files that require downloading before viewing in a third-party app.Is the Quality of Sent Images Reduced?
By default, images are compressed when sent, which may slightly reduce their quality. To send an image without compression, attach it as a “document”.Is It Possible to Download Voice Messages?
This feature is not available yet.Is It Possible to Listen to Audio Files in the Chat?
No, download the audio file and listen to it in another application. Can I Send a Video Without Heavy Compression?
Yes, in the mobile app. By default, video is compressed to send faster and take up less space. To avoid this, select the video in the chat but don't send it right away: open attachment editing and switch the quality to high. Then send the video.
High-quality video is still transcoded, but it loses noticeably less detail. Keep in mind the attachment size limit that applies on your server.
