eXpress 3.71 has been released — an update for iOS, Android, and Web/Desktop. The new version features improvements to video conferencing recording controls, notifications, and other user workflows.
iOS 3.71
- Added the ability to mute notifications for specific chats for a set period.
- Added a tooltip to the initial login screen describing available authentication methods.
- Administrator notifications regarding the start of a call or conference recording now allow for checking and modifying recording access settings, as well as enabling transcription.
- Optimized the user agreement page for dark mode display.
- Added an in-call alert indicating if the other participant has an unstable internet connection.
- Administrators of corporate systems can now configure watermarks to appear on media files when they are saved to a mobile device.
Android 3.71
- Added the option to hide the presenter window during screen sharing.
- Added an admin panel setting to define the default permissions for starting video conference recordings.
- Refined the logic and added user prompts for deleting, leaving, or being removed from a chat.
- Added additional file type validation to the role-based access model.
- Optimized the user agreement page for dark mode display.
Web/Desktop 3.71
- Added the ability to manage links to chats, channels, and conferences.
- Added a new voice message player.
- Added additional file type validation to the role-based access model.
- Added a server-side setting with a specific warning regarding the need to add a number for logging into the application from outside the secure perimeter.
