Open access to AI project standards

Rosstandart opened access for discussion to draft standards in the field of AI, prepared by the Technical Committee for Standardization No. 164 "Artificial Intelligence". With over 60 open standards, it is possible to build a consistent and structured approach to the creation, implementation and evaluation of artificial intelligence technologies.

Rosstandart decided to provide open access to help implement the national strategy for the development of artificial intelligence (AI) for the period up to 2023. One of its main areas is the creation of unified systems for standardization and conformity assessment of technological solutions developed on the basis of AI.

“Open standards for working with artificial intelligence will contribute to the accelerated development of the industry. With development guidelines in place, developers will be able to more effectively create and implement AI technologies in various sectors of the economy and the social sphere. In addition, it will be possible to control the conscious use of artificial intelligence. Unified systems for standardization and conformity assessment of technological solutions will also help in the implementation of the national strategy for the development of the industry.
