The eXpress team participated in the business program of the "Public Transport 2026" forum, held in Moscow on October 14–15. The developer of the eXpress corporate messenger served as a partner for the session titled "The Digital DNA of Public Transport" and hosted a networking zone where forum attendees could learn more about the solution.
The "Digital DNA of Public Transport" session focused on upgrading the nation’s transport infrastructure alongside a large-scale digital transformation of the industry itself. Today, digitalization is becoming the fundamental "DNA" of the entire public transport system, defining its reliability, transparency, and convenience for passengers.
Addressing the core theme, Egor Stolyarov—Deputy General Director for Information Technology at Sheremetyevo Handling (part of the Sheremetyevo International Airport structure)—shared his experience implementing the modern corporate messenger eXpress. He explained how, back in 2024, the company pioneered the adoption of this corporate messenger to replace solutions of foreign origin.
The messenger’s primary functions include facilitating work-related communication and ensuring the prompt dissemination of information to employees. The representative highlighted the advantages of using eXpress within the Sheremetyevo ecosystem: efficient communication between airport departments and services, information flow oversight by the IT security team, and a user-friendly interface. Furthermore, by subsequently rolling out the solution across the parent organization—Sheremetyevo—and its key airline partner, the client established a "Federation"—
a secure communication network.Throughout the day on October 14, during breaks between sessions, forum participants had the opportunity to learn more about the capabilities of eXpress at the company’s information booth while enjoying a cup of coffee.
On October 15, the forum’s business program continued with a plenary session titled “The ‘Development of Public Transport’ Federal Project: From Technological Impetus to Improved Quality of Life.” During this session, senior management from eXpress, representatives from our client Sheremetyevo, and industry experts discussed strategic objectives for the development of public passenger transport, the outcomes of existing industry programs, and prospects for the further modernization of transport systems across Russia’s regions.
The annual “Public Transport 2026” forum brought together key government officials, business leaders, and industry experts to discuss strategies aimed at achieving national goals in the public transport sector. The forum’s objective is to foster both private and public initiatives within the realm of public passenger transport.
The forum is organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
