Background of the project
As of 2022, many companies in Russia, both state-owned and private, are facing the withdrawal of foreign messengers and platforms for corporate communication. In this situation, NPO Mobile Card (part of the organisation UNITED TSUPIS), was looking for a reliable alternative on the Russian market for secure employee interaction.
Switching to eXpress
High data protection was one of the main factors in choosing the eXpress platform. The solution fully meets information security requirements and guarantees secure interaction within the company and with partners due to the platform's Federation protocol.
The implementation process was carried out in conjunction with the Wone IT team who ensured that the platform was effectively integrated into the organisation's existing infrastructure.
The system was successfully implemented in the summer of 2024 and the company's 500 employees now regularly use the eXpress platform as their primary communication tool.
Key features for users:
- Messenger with support for chats, channels, reactions.
- Sharing files at high speeds within the app.
- Pair and group calls with screen sharing and appointment recording.
Results and future plans
The eXpress platform has protected the company's corporate data and provided employees with new communication capabilities that were not available in previous solutions. In 2025, Ediniy TsUPIS plans to introduce chatbots based on eXpress to automate a number of work processes, and will also start testing SmartApps mini-applications to integrate the platform with corporate systems.
Alexander von Rosen, CTO of EDINOI CPIS, said: "The project was an important step in our transition to domestic solutions, thanks to the efforts of the Wone IT and eXpress teams."
The history of implementation of the eXpress platform at Unified CSUPIS demonstrates how domestic solutions can effectively replace foreign analogues.
