Starting with version 3.26, changes have been made to the architecture of the eXpress corporate communications system. The changes are related to the optimization of audio and video calls and conferences.

Brief description of changes
The new architecture requires that the Media and Transcoding roles be placed on separate server(s).
Important!
- Support for the architecture with combined Front, Media and Transcoding roles on one server ends on 02/15/2025. It is necessary to transfer Media and Transcoding to separate servers no later than the specified date.
- Updating eXpress without changing the architecture to versions released after 02/15/2025 may result in the system becoming inoperable.
How to migrate to the target architecture
To make the necessary changes and updates, please use the instructions «Administrator's Guide. Media Server and Transcoding 3.29».
There is a temporary option to update to current versions without changing the architecture using additional settings in the current architecture.
