Until 2022, Russian companies relied mainly on foreign corporate messengers. Microsoft Teams occupied a third of the market, while Slack users were about 2% of companies. In addition, public messengers such as WhatsApp and Telegram have also been widely used for corporate communication.
When foreign vendors began leaving the Russian market one after another, the share of domestic software solutions grew rapidly. Statistics from the Moscow Innovation Agency show that there are more than 20 corporate solutions in Russia. These solutions in terms of functionality may be inferior to Western counterparts, but their capabilities are constantly expanding and improving.
