The SuperNika project on the eXpress platform for Norilsk Nickel was recognized as the best corporate super app project of 2023 in the Project of the Year competition. The competition was organized by the leading professional platform Global CIO, which unites CIOs, IT managers and other leaders in the field of information technology and digital transformation.
SuperNika is a single point of access to the company's digital services for more than 81,000 Norilsk Nickel employees. More than 40 services and systems for interaction, professional development and solving work tasks online are combined on one mobile platform. There are currently no technological analogues of "Superniki" in any company in Russia.
The uniqueness of the project lies in the creation of a mobile digital platform "from scratch", with the help of which seamless access of employees to five major information systems of the company is provided (corporate information portal, personal account of the employee/manager based on SAP, appointment with a doctor, online booking system, chat-bot "Nika"), in compliance with strict requirements of enterprise-level information security. The developers took into account the distribution of the customer company's divisions throughout Russia and set up inter-network interaction of 120 servers located in 4 cities. As of January 2024, the application has been installed by over 47,000 Norilsk Nickel employees.
The award ceremony, which took place on January 31 in Moscow, was attended by the customer company Norilsk Nickel: Senior Manager / IT Business Partner of the HR, Social Policy and Public Relations Block Vasily Korneichuk and Head of the Information Technology Department Denis Krivonosov.
“All categories of our employees use the SuperApp, including those who do not have a work computer. Any of them can access the company's basic services with one button on their personal smartphone: communication options, an information portal, feedback services, HR administration, social programs,” Vasily Korneichuk commented on the capabilities of the application.
“SuperNika” is a large-scale system for a large technology company. The application is unique in that any service available in digital form can be integrated into Supernika so that users will not notice any inconvenience and none of the business processes will be interrupted. We will develop the super app and improve the user experience of interacting with it,” Denis Krivonosov emphasized.
The vendor company, the corporate communications and mobility platform eXpress, was represented by CEO Andrey Vratsky, partner Alexey Lyamin and Marketing Director Anna Lyamina.
“In Supernika, for the first time, we implemented several complex technological solutions to unite a large number of the customer's information systems. As a result, the company received not just “another application”, but a comprehensive and flexible tool for communication and business tasks, the development of which continues,” Alexey Lyamin noted.
The Global CIO Project of the Year competition was held for the 12th time in 2023. The participants were 484 projects, which were divided into the following nominations: "Best Solution in the Subject Industry", "Best Industry Solution", "Best Management Project" and "Regional Nominations". The winners in each nomination are determined by voting by representatives of the professional IT community.
