The corporate communications and mobility platform eXpress on the domestic Aurora operating system has appeared in the Russian digital store RuStore.
Recall that the development of the new eXpress client application for Aurora OS began in early 2023. In two years, by the end of 2024, the messenger functionality was fully implemented in the solution: users can log in (including on the corporate server of their organization), create chats and channels, add colleagues to them, exchange media files in different formats, view a contact card, set up notifications and much more.
At the end of February 2025, version 0.3.1 of eXpress for Aurora OS was released. The new version implements full support for chats with bots, adds the ability to exchange voice messages, improves user authentication under ETS, adds OpenID authentication mode (Keycloak), adds a button to filter unread chats, implements message notification settings, significantly improves the search for chats when mentioned, and makes a number of other fixes, optimizations, and improvements to the interface and layout.
The most current version of eXpress for Aurora OS can be downloaded from RuStore (users of the domestic OS can find the application through the search bar), as well as on our website in the «Download» section.
RuStore is the official Russian store of mobile applications, developed by VK together with the largest Russian IT companies with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development. In November 2022, the Russian government included the domestic RuStore app store in the list of programs for mandatory pre-installation on smartphones officially sold in Russia. This was done in order to ensure stable access for Russian users to the necessary applications and services. In total, RuStore has already been downloaded more than 100 million times.
