On May 28, the professional community of digital transformation leaders Global CIO summed up the results of the annual rating "Top 100 IT Leaders 2025". In 2025, the CEO and founder of the super app for business eXpress Andrey Vratsky" was included in the project's experts.
285 candidates from among senior managers and IT directors leading digital transformation in Russian companies took part in the rating. A distinctive feature of the rating was the absence of a jury - the names of the winners were determined by open voting. As a result, the top lines of the rating are occupied by people who truly have well-deserved authority and recognized expertise in the community of IT leaders.
Any IT project is always based on a person, but the role of the manager can remain underestimated, while the focus, if successful, shifts to other aspects of the project.
“Our rating of the “Top 100 IT Leaders” is designed to change this situation: we focus on the professional competencies and personal qualities of CIOs, CDTOs, CTOs and other digital leaders whose efforts move companies forward,” said Katerina Lyasko, CEO of Global CIO.
The award ceremony also included a debate “Clash of Minds: How to Find a Common Language?” dedicated to the most pressing issues of the IT market - from information security and transferring the office to remote work to the use of AI in making operational decisions and the strategy of the CIO in the context of economic instability.
The debate organizers divided the participants into 2 teams of 4 people - the "For" and "Against" teams. They were presented with several theses-statements based on current IT trends. Each team had to justify whether it agreed with this thesis or not, arguing its position. At the end of each round, online voting was held among the guests of the ceremony, and the winning team was chosen based on the number of points scored on each question.
