The Russian mobile app market has growth potential

The market for mobile applications in Russia will finally take shape over the next 5-10 years. At the same time, 26% of Russian developers consider mobile development to be a promising industry, 16% are sure that the market has growth potential already in the next year. Most of all, developers place their expectations on applications in the financial sector, retail and education.

“If we talk about the market of consumer mobile applications, it is close to the saturation point or even already there. Everyone has had communication applications, financial, e-commerce, etc. on their smartphones for a long time. The only potential for growth is in applications for work, which are clearly lacking today, especially in large corporations. But at the same time, the industry will never be completely formed. New applications, manufacturers, use cases will constantly appear. An example is the Internet, which is already 30 years old, but new sites continue to appear in huge numbers.
