From June 2 to 5, 2025, the anniversary 10th conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” (CIPR) was held in Nizhny Novgorod - the largest event in the field of digital transformation and IT. The eXpress team traditionally took part in both business and informal events.

Current challenges and international ambitions
On June 4, eXpress CEO and founder Andrey Vratsky spoke as part of the session "Technological Innovations: Domestic vs. Foreign", organized by the company "Almi Partner". The discussion focused on the prospects for the return of Western IT vendors to Russia, issues of technological sovereignty and the role of local developers in global competition.
Andrey Vratsky noted that Russian IT companies should develop innovations within the country not only for the domestic market, but also with an eye on international expansion. In his opinion, without such an approach, it is impossible to talk about competition with foreign analogues. He emphasized that in many countries, including China, the promotion of local technological solutions is ensured by state protectionist policies, and Russia should focus on the same path. State support measures and target programs will allow domestic developments to reach a new level and confidently compete abroad.
During the session, information about eXpress international projects was also presented: foreign partners, including representatives of government agencies of friendly countries, are showing interest in the platform. Work is currently underway in a number of areas, including within the framework of integration into large ecosystems in Asian countries.
Speaking about the future of corporate communications, Andrey Vratsky noted that today there is still no single dominant standard or trendsetter in the world. In this situation, eXpress has a real chance to take a leading position thanks to a technological architecture focused on mobility, secure communication and the principle of federation.
A new stage of cooperation
On June 4, eXpress and the Russian IT company RED SOFT signed aa memorandum on cooperation was signed. The parties agreed to develop partnership in the field of creation and implementation of domestic digital solutions. Earlier, it was announced about the compatibility of eXpress with RED OS.
eXpress lounge bar: a space for ideas and meetings
A two-story eXpress lounge bar was open on the main fairground of CIPR-2025 — a space created especially for conference guests. Meetings, business negotiations and informal communication between participants took place here. Over the four days of its work, the lounge became one of the most popular points of the event, bringing together thousands of representatives of IT companies, businesses and government agencies.
Sports spirit and new victories
On June 5, the 5th anniversary RUSSOFT Sailing Regatta took place, in which two eXpress teams took part — superapp and eXpress VKS. This year they took second and third places. The winners were the members of the national team under the RUSSOFT flag. Let us recall that in 2024, one of the eXpress teams won gold at this regatta.
About CIPR
Over the 10 years of its existence, CIPR has become the main platform for discussing strategic issues of the digital economy. The number of participants has increased threefold, and the event area has increased eightfold. Today, initiatives are discussed here, decisions are made at the state level, and the course for the country's technological independence is determined.
