On March 27-28, one of the most significant HR conferences in the IT sphere took place – Index Tech.
At the annual conference dedicated to the joint work of IT and HR in the formation and development of effective IT teams, T-Bank, Dodo, SberHealth and others presented their cases. Artem Barbakov, HRD of the corporate communications and mobility platform eXpress, gave a report on "The Economy of Recruitment: In-House Expertise vs. Contractors".
He spoke about the current situation on the labor market, as well as about his experience of attracting recruiting agencies to fill IT vacancies. In his opinion, the personnel shortage persists only in the expert market, and the integration of contractor representatives into the recruitment team is justified only in a number of cases:
- Explosive growth in hiring needs;
- Specific stack/profile of vacancies;
- The company lacks its own expertise or when the company does not have the task of cultivating this expertise.
Artem Barbakov also introduced the audience to the concept of recruiter-implants, as one of the options for implementing the outsourcing function in the company's recruitment block, and emphasized that this approach is still not without risks in terms of information security and working with personal data.
