On April 1, 2025, CNews held the annual conference "Unified Communications". The super app for business eXpress was presented at the event by Executive Director Artem Spinul with the topic "The Future of Unified Communications. How eXpress will develop: our experience and feedback from customers".
Artem Spinul began his speech with a brief summary of the company's work in 2024:
- 1.6 million users in the eXpress Federation;
- 13 of the 20 largest companies in the country cooperate with eXpress;
- the development company's team has grown by 30%;
- the company is preparing to launch a new product on the market – the eXpress Disk data storage and sharing system.
Then Artem Spinul showed that it is possible to combine communications in one application, thanks to the mobile platform. eXpress has already created more than 35 of its own branded communications applications for various customers, the largest of which are Rosatom and Norilsk Nickel. These are full-fledged applications for mobile and PC, with functionality, security settings and "features" that specific customers need.
In addition to product achievements in 2024 (role model, application version for Aurora OS, registration without a phone number, call recording and much more), the speaker spoke in detail about eXpress' plans for 2025.
New features will appear:
- In VKS and calls – managing access to recording, connecting “guests” from a mobile phone, virtual backgrounds, a client for meeting rooms and tablets, a remote desktop, broadcasts and webinars, a “waiting room”, subtitles and a text report on the meeting, a meeting agenda.
- In chats and channels – user statuses, reading statistics, transcription of voice messages, postponed messages.
- For joint work on documents – “teams”, integration with office programs, screen sharing.
- In the role model – setting up restrictions on correspondence, as well as prohibitions on screenshots and printing.
During the conference, together with representatives of domestic IT solution developers, Artem Spinul discussed the current state and prospects of the Russian UC market, the integration of UC tools with corporate applications and their security, and the development trends of the UC market.
