Lotsiya is a Russian IT solutions and services provider.
As a service company, Lotsiya not only implemented a secure solution for itself but also offered it to its partners. The LooC corporate messenger, based on eXpress, is used by companies with a total of 12,000 employees.

Project Challenges
Before switching to a domestic platform, "Lotsiya" used the public messenger Telegram. An IT solution provider working with partners and customers needed a replacement that met the following important criteria:
- Information Security: The need to comply with strict corporate information security and data protection standards, as well as guarantee complete confidentiality.
- Technological Independence: Selection of a Russian-developed platform.
- Functionality and Branding: The requirement to combine modern chat and video conferencing features with the ability to customize within the corporate style.
Branded Corporate Messenger LooC Based on eXpress
Lotsiya chose the domestic eXpress platform and built its branded corporate messenger LooC on it. The solution was deployed on-premise.
Key Implementation Aspects
1. All tools for teams: chats, threads, polls, document sharing, 1-1 calls, group audio calls, and video conferences with recording.
2. Information Security Mechanisms: strict security mechanisms have been implemented, including end-to-end encryption in chats, a message deletion timer, and a role-based access control model for information and functions (e.g., prohibiting screenshots and forwarding).
3. Federated Protocol: secure interaction with external contractors, partners, and customers using both corporate and public versions of the eXpress messenger has been implemented.
4. Availability: The messenger is available to employees in popular stores, as well as in the browser and desktop.
Results and Scale
Lotsiya first tested LooC with its own team (over 650 specialists). After successful implementation, the tool was offered to partners.
- Today, LooC has been implemented in companies with a total of 12,000 employees.
- The platform can handle large-scale conferences with over 200 attendees.
- On-premise deployment and use of the Russian eXpress platform provided the client with complete independence.
- LooC has united disparate communication tools, becoming a single window for employee work communication.
The company plans to implement the LooC messenger in a number of companies with over 10,000 employees. Integration with corporate systems through SmartApps mini-applications is being explored to automate routine processes.
The branded corporate messenger offers opportunities for further customization. For example, administrators can change login methods, set up an FAQ page to support all company users, and enable global chat.
