JSC Bashkir Electric Grid Company is engaged in the transit of electricity between the central part of the country and the Urals, transmission of electricity in the territory of Bashkiria and distribution to end consumers. Therefore, in 2022, like other electric power facilities related to critical infrastructure, it was first of all important to replace foreign software.
As a replacement for imported tools for corporate interaction between employees and the implementation of dispatch functions, BEGC JSC chose the eXpress communication platform.
About the project
An Enterprise class platform was deployed on the customer’s servers; this provided a special regime of increased confidentiality, which is confirmed by the certificate of compliance of the sixth and fourth levels of trust of the FSTEC of Russia. The transition has become one of the tools for ensuring information security of internal systems of BEGC JSC.
Secure corporate communication is achieved by a set of mechanisms inside eXpress: user authentication through 3 independent channels, encrypted data storage (crypto container), remote deletion of data from client devices (for example, if the phone was lost or when an employee left).
Project results
In a timely manner, Bashkir Electric Grid Company JSC successfully implemented the secure corporate messenger eXpress, which replaced all the necessary and familiar functionality for communication, work and file sharing: personal and group chats, channels, audio and video calls, tags, discussions, reactions , corporate address book. In a word, everything that the customer managed to get used to while using the imported platform, he found from the domestic vendor.
Today, more than 750 employees of BPGC JSC use eXpress in the format of a corporate messenger.
