A new episode of the eXpress podcast "Voice of Business" has been released, featuring Dmitry Ilyin, Deputy Director General for Information Technology at Sheremetyevo International Airport. The host is Anna Lyamina, Marketing Director of eXpress.
The episode was recorded as a tour of the airport. In the interview, Dmitry Ilyin discussed the IT infrastructure of the country's largest air hub, the digital solutions that support the operation of terminals and baggage handling facilities, the use of automation and AI elements, and what changes are expected at the airport by 2030.
Special attention is paid to corporate communications. The episode discusses the implementation of the eXpress platform at Sheremetyevo, the challenges facing the IT department, and the role of secure digital communications in coordinating the work of distributed departments. As a reminder, the eXpress corporate messenger was integrated into the company's innovative infrastructure – Almost 3,000 airport employees have become users of the eXpress system.
Based on the Federation Protocol, Sheremetyevo Airport not only built a fully functional internal communication system but also created a secure environment for interaction with external partners (in particular, airlines).
In the fall of 2025, the eXpress team participated in the MAIF forum, where they presented their solutions with a focus on the aviation industry.
