The PhosAgro Group's eXpress corporate communications platform implementation project at Apatit JSC won the Global CIO 2025 Project of the Year competition in the category "Best Communications Platform in the Industrial Sector." The annual IT community awards ceremony took place on January 28 in Moscow. Fyodor Belugin, Head of Information Systems Development and Maintenance at Apatit JSC (PhosAgro Group), received the commemorative award on behalf of the entire project team.
More than 7,000 PhosAgro employees work in a secure communications environment based on the domestic eXpress platform. The solution, which replaced the company's popular corporate tools Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business, offers users a wide range of features: chats and channels in messenger, video conferencing, an internal employee directory, integration with email, calendar, and other systems, and the ability to securely connect third-party partners to work communications. Project details are available on the competition website.
PhosAgro Group also submitted a project for the development and implementation of an industry-standard Russian automated production management system (APMS) as part of the competition – both projects received the highest rating from the Global CIO expert community.
"The software architecture of our Russian systems is completely free of imported components, ensuring their independence from imports and compliance with our high security requirements. Our domestically developed APMS, as well as our own corporate communications platform, eXpress, complemented by artificial intelligence services, open up broad opportunities for digitalization and automation of production." "Today, domestic developers offer a wide range of digital solutions that are equal to, and in many ways even superior to, their imported counterparts," said Igor Kurashov, Director of Information Technology at Apatit JSC, commenting on the competition results.
