The Cnews Analytics agency has published a rating of the “Largest Developers of Corporate Mobile Applications 2024”. The corporate communications and mobility platform eXpress entered the TOP-10 of the rating, taking the eighth line.
The rating has been compiled for more than ten years, but the latest study differs from the previous ones in its methodology - this time the revenue of the rating participants is presented excluding VAT. The organizers note that "the lion's share of the study participants continue to work with the usual Western mobile operating systems - iOS and Android. As for Russian operating systems, only a few are ready to offer customers mobile applications based on them." These include eXpress, which launched a version of the communications platform on Aurora at the beginning of 2025.
Sergey Artemov, Director of Development of the eXpress Corporate Communications and Mobility Platform, is confident that the mass distribution of domestic operating systems is held back by the fact that users do not yet fully trust them:
“The prospects for replacing Android and iOS with domestic solutions remain positive. Despite all the difficulties, domestic mobile platforms, such as Aurora, are slowly but surely moving forward. Government agencies are actively stimulating the import substitution process, and although success varies, we will see results in the next 3-5 years. The mass distribution of domestic operating systems is held back by the fact that users are not yet ready to trust them 100%. Mobile application developers often do not have enough time to provide high-quality support for their solutions on domestic platforms. In my opinion, the components of success in the long term will be the expansion of the ecosystem of applications for them and the popularization of platforms among users."
