Digital business transformation: how to adapt to changes

Software distributor MONT successfully uses the Russian eXpress platform for its business and internal corporate communications. More than a year ago, domestic software replaced the foreign messenger Microsoft Teams in the company.

Three functions were critical for the customer: chat and work in teams, video conferencing and telephony, as well as collaboration with files. An important advantage when choosing a product was the information security and data protection mechanisms built into the platform. The capabilities of the system were first tested by 30 IT department employees, then a pilot group of MONT specialists of 100 people transferred communication to the platform. A test month showed that all the functions declared by the developer work. The final stage of transferring 100% of the MONT team to eXpress took less than a month - 500 company employees became eXpress users.

Over the past year, the customer closely followed the eXpress development map and received the necessary functions on time, which he was accustomed to while working with Microsoft Teams. At the moment, the customer is studying the product development map for 2024, which provides for the implementation of functions that are no less important for the company: user statuses, call recording and the ability to create conferences from an email client. In the future, MONT may introduce smartapps and chatbots. In particular, specialists are testing the integration of the eXpress chatbot with the company’s internal ServiceDesk system for registering requests from users.

MONT notes that the transition to the eXpress platform made it possible to maintain established communication within the company and stay in touch with clients.
