eXpress Offers Support to Skype Users Due to Service Outage

In early 2025, the Western communications vendor Microsoft announced that it would end support for the Skype communications solution on May 5. As of 2023, Skype was used by 36 million people worldwide. The company offers its users to switch to the Microsoft Teams platform with the same credentials. However, even earlier, in September 2024, Microsoft began to disable Teams, Office 365, and cloud services in Russia.

There are less than two months left before the closure of the popular communications service, and we understand how important it is for Russian companies to choose a reliable and convenient tool for business communications in advance. Therefore, for users of the Skype service from Russia, we offer a free try of a fully functional analogue of the foreign service - the eXpress corporate communications and mobility platform.

To support Russian companies in the current situation, eXpress provides a free version of the platform for testing and subsequent comfortable migration from Skype to domestic communications software.

Standard functionality in eXpress:

  • Video conferencing for 250+ active participants (guest access, recording, blur, reactions and other familiar VKS "features").
  • Secure corporate messenger (channels, threads, likes, reminders, chat bots and virtual assistants).
  • Integrations required for user authentication and authorization, as well as for corporate security (AD, Keycloak, DLP, antiviruses, etc.).

Unique advantages of eXpress:

  • Federation communication protocol, which allows you to communicate with colleagues on trusted corporate servers, as well as with public users of the application.
  • Corporate application store SmartApps, providing mobile access for employees to the company's information systems and services.
