In September 2024, Russian companies faced an unexpected disconnection from Microsoft cloud services, which led to the need to look for alternatives. Although this was a serious challenge, many companies had already begun to switch to domestic solutions for corporate mobility in advance. One such tool is eXpress - a Russian super app that combines all the necessary functions for work in one place, including instant messengers, video calls and task management.
In a large interview with CNews, eXpress co-founder Andrey Vratsky explained why the platform is one of the most promising solutions in the context of import substitution and increasing digital sovereignty. Vratsky emphasized that eXpress not only helps replace Western software, but also allows maintaining data security, since all information is stored in Russian data centers.
Also, according to him, the company is not limited to the Russian market: in the future, it plans to expand into the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
