Kazan Digital Week 2025, one of the leading international forums on digital transformation and AI implementation in Russia, took place from September 17th to 19th. Its business program featured eXpress platform founders Andrey Vratsky and Alexey Lyamin, Executive Director Artem Spinul, and Marketing Director Anna Lyamina.
Our team began September 18th with a panel discussion, "Credit of Trust in Domestic Messengers," hosted by PSB Bank. Participants, including vendors, customers, and integrators, discussed trust in Russian messengers: their convenience, security, and business applications. Andrey Vratsky responded to the most pressing question today about the potential shutdown of public messaging apps of foreign origin as follows:
"Ultimately, everyone will find themselves using a tool that, firstly, can be trusted, and secondly, can communicate with the widest possible range of people, since a messenger is a product that should contain the user's entire phone book."
Also, on September 18, the forum featured an expert session from CommuniGate Pro and ARPP entitled "Corporate Communications 2030: Sovereignty, Ecosystems, Productivity. The Role of AI." Participants discussed the future of the digital workspace and the prospects for corporate communications through 2030. The focus was on artificial intelligence, the role of unified communications (UC), and open standards and security.
Andrey Vratsky, CEO and founder of eXpress, delivered the presentation "Efficiency through Unity. The Advantages of an All-in-One UC Platform." He shared a forecast for the development of the main types of communication over the next five years:
- mail – traffic will decline, will remain a tool for purely formal correspondence;
- telephony – will remain, but usage is also declining;
- video conferencing – popularity will remain at the same level;
- messengers – will definitely become more widespread, as corporate messengers integrated with business processes are currently used No more than 10% of the market is in operation.
He noted that "the platform that offers the user a single client application with a full range of functions and a security guarantee will win. Convenience is important, but security is a must-have."
