eXpress participated in the International Technology Congress

On 17-19 September, the International Technology Congress was held at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Centre near Moscow. Andrey Vratsky, co-founder of eXpress, spoke at the session ‘Russian IT in the Global Market: Survivor Strategy’. The participants of the panel discussion discussed the prospects for Russian technology business in the context of BRICS expansion, the strategies of domestic software development companies, and the image of Russia among the business community in friendly regions.

Andrey Vratsky shared eXpress' experience as a result of communication with foreign partners and noted that the main advantage of Russian solutions over Western ones is the possibility of on-premise deployment on the customer's own servers. And this becomes relevant for companies in any country if data security is a priority for them. He added that Russian vendors only need to build a sales system through local partners and co-operate with the government.

‘We must get business and government working in tandem. But so far it has not been observed. However, this system is gradually being built,’ said Andrei Vratsky.

Throughout the forum, an information stand of eXpress worked, where users of the application, as well as those who study the corporate communications market, could ask questions and learn about the product development plans.

The International Technology Congress was organised with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Digital Economy, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. The forum brought together the interests of the software and electronics industries, two inseparable parts of the information technology industry.
