About the project
In 2019, Mosvodokanal JSC, as part of the digitalization of its internal IT infrastructure, was looking for a solution that would allow us to avoid the use of public messengers in internal corporate interaction.
The new communication tool had to be easy to use, have a simple and understandable interface, and at the same time ensure technological independence from foreign suppliers and a high level of information security.
What tasks were set
- Employee communication in a secure corporate communications environment
- Integration with the company’s corporate systems
- Possibility of communication with external users (partners, contractors) who are not within the company’s perimeter
Mosvodokanal chose the Russian corporate communications platform eXpress, which allows it to effectively solve all its tasks. eXpress users have access to all the functions of a modern corporate messenger: personal and group chats, channels, audio and video calls, file and document exchange, threads, reactions. In the corporate address book, you can quickly find a colleague by name, position, or tag.
Features
eXpress is integrated with the company’s corporate systems; integration is implemented through chat bots. Thus, employees can quickly approve a document, receive a new task and assignment, send a request to technical support, or find the necessary regulations from any device, including a mobile phone. This is convenient, including in the case of on-site and remote work.
Results
With the help of eXpress, Mosvodokanal digitalized intra-corporate interaction, ensuring its independence from public messengers and foreign solutions. The platform is not used in isolation from other tools, but is part of the corporate IT infrastructure.
Thanks to the integration of eXpress with the corporate information management system, internal business processes, such as approvals and collaboration on documents, are accelerated and optimized. As of 2023, eXpress is used by about 1,500 employees of Mosvodokanal JSC.
