What's new in eXpress 2.6 Backend:
Threads are separate threads for discussing tasks and messages in group chats and channels.
New user authentication mechanism using Keycloak.
eXpress Conference Bot – notifications about upcoming conferences. The bot allows you to personalize when you receive notifications about an upcoming event and automatically announces changes in the meeting. It also became possible to view the list of participants in the conference to which the user was invited.
Receiving a list of all corporate server users by the bot:
- The ability to create a bot that automatically joins users to a chat or channel based on some profile attribute. For example, the lawyers of the company will automatically get into the chats of the legal department.
- The bot will be able to upload a list of users by certain criteria. The function is available to administrators.
A number of optimizations for "large" chats (more than 100 users):
- optimized the transmission of large events;
- added a new routing scheme (now the scheme does not show all chat participants individually, but a counter of profiles registered on each corporate server);
- changed user attributes in the database to optimize search and increase the capacity of chats and channels;
- redesigned the page of chats and their members on the admin panel.
The permission settings for searching on your server and searching from your server over trusted connections are now separated.
Ability to publish corporate web resources from KSPD for Smart Apps applications.
Integration with the corporate application integration system (KSIP).
Audit events from actions in the command line interface (CLI).
Added support for gossip security protocol events for trusted connections.
App home screen and new Smart Apps catalog settings:
- "SmartApps Enabled" setting has been renamed to "SmartApps Catalog Enabled", and has been moved to the admin panel below, to catalog settings.
- Renamed "Not Selected" to "Default Directory" in the directory setting
- The settings processing logic has been changed.
A number of bugs have been fixed and system performance has been improved.
